#todayInTheByteCellar eBayed a full Tandy 1000EX system to get the proprietary RAM board from it for use in my 1000HX. Interestingly it has an ISA MFM HD controller & drive, which I’m trading for a new 1000HX case (mine is cracked). Not cheap but finally the HX will be complete.
#todayInTheByteCellar I got Arkanoid 2 and SubLogic Jet running on the Tandy 1000. The former won’t do Tandy colors, presumably because only 256K. CGA ok tho (hit with the ugly stick). :-/ Latter has nice composite color. Also eBayed another box of DS/DD 3.5-inch floppy disks.
#todayInTheByteCellar I moved a few more programs from ‘net to Tandy 1000HX via the 486 on the LAN, discovering that much doesn’t run with just 256K of RAM. Sorting some parts I’m not using to Craigslist.
